Joining Berger Kahn's Orange County office is William R. Mitchell, a senior corporate transactional partner. Joining the Marina del Rey office are Igbodike Obioha, a transactional and litigation partner with an entertainment practice, and associate Rachel M. Stilwell. Bill provides transactional and general corporate advice to entrepreneurs, start-up ventures, emerging growth companies, and well-established mid-sized corporations. He serves as outside general counsel to several small and middle market companies, including many family-owned businesses. Igbo represents actors, writers, directors, producers and musical artists in a wide range of complex entertainment and multi-media transactions including publishing and recording agreements, talent and producer agreements, as well as distribution agreements in the music, film and television industries. Igbo also advises clients on copyright and asset protection, independent film financing, and company formation for various media-related entities. "Bill and Igbo bring a full range of corporate transactional experience to Berger Kahn. We are pleased to welcome them to our team along with Rachel," said Craig S. Simon, managing partner of Berger Kahn. Rachel Stilwell joins the business litigation and entertainment teams.
