Civil Rights Litigation Update

Berger Kahn principals Arthur Willner and Teresa Tracy will serve as faculty members for the National Business Institute's Civil Rights Litigation seminar scheduled for July 25. Arthur will discuss employment-related civil rights claims and litigation focusing on discrimination, harassment and disability/access issues. He also will discuss the latest trends in claims and enforcement, settlement issues, and recent major cases. Teresa's program will focus on current trends in civil rights and employment class actions, an analysis of the "class one one" equal protection theory, the plaintiff's perspective and strategies for defendants.

Check-in is from 8:30-9:00 am. The program runs from 9:00 am-4:30 pm.

This seminar is designed for corporate and trial lawyers, corporate executives and government officials responsible for managing civil rights litigation. This activity has been approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of California in the amount of 6.0 hours, of which 1.0 hour will apply to legal ethics.
